3. Data Processing During Your Visit

a) Server Log Files: When accessing our website, information is automatically stored in server log files (IP address, date and time of access, browser type, operating system). This data serves technical security and system stability purposes and is deleted after a maximum of 7 days. Legal basis: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR (Legitimate Interest).

b) External Hosting (Netlify): This website is hosted externally by Netlify, Inc., 440 2nd Street, 1st Floor, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Personal data collected on this website (such as IP addresses in server log files) is processed on the servers of the host. Legal basis: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR (Legitimate Interest). Data transfer to the USA is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) of the EU Commission and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Netlify holds a corresponding certification. We have executed a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with the provider.

When first visiting our website, a cookie banner appears. Consent-requiring cookies and scripts for advertisements via Google AdSense are only activated if you explicitly agree. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a GDPR in conjunction with § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG.

5. Google AdSense

Google Consent Mode v2: We have fully integrated Google Consent Mode v2. This informs Google about your tracking preferences. Server logs are kept for a maximum of 7 days. Personal advertising tracking parameters follow Google’s data protection terms (up to 18 months). Your active consent choice persists until manually cleared or reset. Our website strictly enforces an end-to-end SSL/TLS encryption standard.
